Recently, EA SPORTS detailed that a patch would be going live for both the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 that would fix quite a few issues in Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 14. In addition to those changes, online stats would be reset due to various inaccuracies.
Playstation 3 owners will be prompted to download a 28MB patch today that contains a myriad of fixes. The online statistics for the game will also be reset in a few key categories: Head to Head online leaderboards, complete wipe of Country Club statistics, and a complete wipe of Connected Tournament leaderboards.
While it’s tough to see those stats be wiped, EA SPORTS did state that your created golfer XP points, coin bank, and all offline stats will remain unaffected. To reward fans for their patience with the patch and also the inconvenience, everyone’s account will be credited with 25,000 XP once the patch has been applied to the user’s console.
Xbox 360 owners should expect to hear a release date for their patch within the next few days, as EA is currently awaiting Microsoft’s approval for the patch. Once EA has provided a timeline or date for the patch we’ll have it for you.
