Native PlayStation 4 and Xbox One Features

Of course, some of the best enhancements to the experience of playing Madden NFL 25 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One aren’t even directly the result of the development team at EA Tiburon; instead, they’re due to the native tools and features of the new consoles.  Regardless of your “Gen 4” console choice, you’ll be able to:

  • Capture screenshots and video clips of your best plays and upload them to social media.
  • Stream your gameplay live through services like Twitch.tv and UStream natively through the console, allowing more players to share their game experiences than ever before.
  • Watch other players play their games live through the console or through an associate mobile app, finally enabling the “Spectator Mode” experience long requested for the game.

Yet for all these features, we’re still waiting to hear more about the “Madden Living Worlds” feature of Madden NFL 25 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which states, “The NFL is more than what happens between the lines.”  Will we see full-featured sidelines with players who are actively engaged in watching the action as they wait for their chance to get back on the field?  With just over two weeks until people will be playing the game on PS4, we won’t have to wait long to find out.

What’s your take on Madden NFL 25 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from what you’ve seen so far?  Let us know which features have you most excited, which features you still want to know more about, and join the conversation in our community here at GoodGameBro!

As for Madden 25 and how I feel about it… Hmm, since we haven’t seen much about it and it comes out in 15 days or so, that worries me. EA Sports has always had the great “marketing words” to explain their new features, but the features rarely work how they claim they do.

Honestly, I more than likely won’t be picking up Madden this year. I will wait until the game isn’t just a port of the poorly animated current gen version. For next gen, a standard should be set, not only in graphics, but also in intelligence and player movement. And dammit EA, allow for some competition, it will help you to get better at what you do.

We are now eight days from launch of the PS4 and still no actual gameplay from either NBA Live or Madden. Color me concerned.
