Days after Ubisoft unveiled Rainbow Six Siege at E3, producer Sebastien Labbe was interviewed by OXM and asked about the possibility of a beta for Rainbow Six Siege before it hits store shelves in 2015:
[quote_box_center]“Maybe a PR will kill me if I say so,” said producer Sebastien Labbe when we asked about a beta program. “What I can say is that for sure, we’re no different from the other online shooters. We want to be online – we’re providing a strong PVP game, and if we want that we need to create a community. So if we wait until the launch, I expect it will be too late.”
“There will certainly be things that will occur, but at the moment we can’t talk about that. It’s not clearly defined because it’s still a lot of work to do, but certainly there will be some announcements about that. So stay tuned.”[/quote_box_center]
It certainly sounds like a beta is in the works which is great news for fans of the series who want to get their hands on the game early. In addition to the beta news, Ubisoft released the first official screenshots for Rainbow Six Siege yesterday:
