GoodGameShow: Episode #19 – Game of the Year Awards Part One

The end of the year is finally upon us, which means it’s time to start handing out awards and talking about/debating our favorite experiences of the year.

This week on the GoodGameShow podcast, we bring you part one of our Game of the Year talk, which will be divided into three separate podcasts, with numerous guests’ opinions and numerous trophies to give out. This week, we hand out awards for Biggest Disappointment, best Remaster of the Year, and one of our site’s big one’s – Sports Game of the Year. We also have another segment of Corey’s Blast Zone, which turns out to be another rant aimed at gaming companies.

Show Notes:

This week marks the beginning of our 2014 year in review. In a special three-part podcast, we’ll be going over some of our favorite games of the year, and some of our biggest disappointments. We also take some time to debate and fight for certain titles, before deciding on a clear winner.

For part one, we take a look at the “Biggest Disappointment of the Year”, in which there seem to be plenty of this year, and we also pick a “Remaster of the Year”, in which ends up with a surprise victor.

We also have another segment of Corey’s Blast Zone, otherwise known as the Rant of the Week, before we finish the show off with one of the biggest award winners – Sports Game of the Year.
